The Flex Mini Mounter is an effective and innovative solution for mounting SMT components on
FPC and Thin Rigid PCB. It has been developed to resolve the production problems associated
with mounting SMD, Chip-on-flex (COF), Chip-on-board (COB) and DOM Switches on FPC and
Thin Rigid PCB.

Problems such as: (i) Low productivity by using common expensive IC mounter to mount only few components on a typical FPC or rigid PCB. (ii) Warping of FPC sheet and deformation/slippage resulted in component shifted after mounting. (ii) FPC sheet suffer dimensional changes after reflow oven and resulted reject when stamped out to separate to single cavity. These problems turn into quality, productivity and delivery issues that severely affect production cost and performance.
